JOIN OUR “SECRETARIAT SEND-OFF” THURSDAY APRIL 27 AT ASHLAND TOWN HALL at 12:00 pm

Our Secretariat Racing Into History monument is getting ready to race to its next destination on the 50th Anniversary Triple Crown Tour…the Kentucky Derby!

Sculptor Jocelyn Russell and her crew will depart from the Ashland Town Hall on Thursday April 27 at 12:30 pm. Secretariat fans are welcome to join the informal “Secretariat Send-Off” beginning at 12:00 pm as we say goodbye (for now) to Virginia’s hometown hero.

Prior to the send off Jocelyn Russell will present “Making A Monument- Secretariat Racing into History” from 10:30-11:15am in the Lecture Room inside Town Hall.

This is a great opportunity to take one more selfie with Secretariat, and to make a donation to permanently place this magnificent artwork in Ashland. We hope to see you there!
