Max Muscato lives for the underdog. His journey is nothing short of extraordinary—surviving attempted suicide, a stabbing, addiction, and the trials of growing up with a single father and an absent mother, all while caring for an autistic addict brother who survived a gunshot wound from a police officer after becoming entangled with crime and gangs. Through it all, Max has transformed his adversity into powerful music that defies victimhood, embracing and confronting his demons head-on.
With a distinctive sound that blends John Mayer’s soulful depth with the Red Hot Chili Peppers’ energetic edge, Max has captivated audiences and secured opening slots with bands like Theory Of A Deadman, Finger Eleven, Big Wreck, and Andrew Cushin. His upcoming singles, “Demons” and “Lunatic,” slated for release in 2025, promise to continue his trend of bold, impactful music.
In spite of his challenges, Max founded Rock Autism in honor of his brother Sonny Muscato. His deeply personal songs, inspired by Sonny’s struggles with autism and addiction, drive his artistic passion and activism. Proceeds from his tour are donated to Rock Autism programs, helping individuals with autism forge careers in music and film, furthering Max’s mission to prevent isolation, depression, addiction incarceration and suicide.
In addition to his touring music career, Max is actively workshopping his feature film, Sonnyboy, and his musical,
Monsters In My Head.
“Patrick’s loops are full of creative energy and life” – Tim Reynolds (Dave Matthews Band)
Patrick has shared the stage with Tim Reynolds & TR3 (Dave Matthews Band), The Spin Doctors, Brock Butler (Perpetual Groove), Fair To Midland, Tyler Nail, The Dave Matthews Tribute Band, The Tasty Specials Band, and many more.
“In beat up jeans and a VCU tee, Patrick sits across from me on his beloved tempurpedic bed. He refers to it as the cloud and he’s not lying. That thing is the bomb. “I don’t normally talk to people about this stuff,” he says stiffly. Cracking a smile, he adds, “that would be like actually explaining what my songs mean…that’s for the listener to figure out”. Patrick is a 30-year-old singer/songwriter with music in his brain the way that air fills the rest of the world’s lungs. He picked up a guitar in 2005, and it wasn’t long before he was crooning his self-written tunes, peppered with a few covers, at local Richmond events. He’s played at over 25 regional venues and festivals and doesn’t plan on stopping.” – Sydney Hubbard (CAA)
