The History of the Cello through Music

Recommended for ages 10 and up. Learn about the history of the cello and listen to music from the Renaissance to the 20th century.  You’ll find out how the cello is constructed, what materials are used, how it makes sound, and how the cello evolved over the centuries. Christmas, Hanukkah, and popular music will be played – all on solo cello.  Bring all of your questions about the cello!
